CPVC, or PVC-c as it is also known, is a similar system to the Schedule 80 PVC products widely used in Industrial applications. The “C” represents an additional chlorination step that the raw material is subjected too that provides greater resistance to temperature, allowing for an upper limit of 99ºC in service.
Chemical resistance is generally similar to that of PVC Sch.80, but compatibility should always be checked before specification. CPVC Sch.80 is available in 8mm – 200mm and offers a full system solution of pipes, fittings and valving.
