Hynds Pipe Systems is split into two divisions - Manufacturing and Distribution.

Hynds Pipe Systems manufacturing comprises 9 factory sites across New Zealand. The East Tamaki and Christchurch factories produce both concrete spun pipe and precast products, with the other factories specialising in precastconcrete for civil and rural applications.

The company has operated an accredited ISO9000 series quality system since March 1994. Telarc New Zealand Ltd. independently audits the quality system to AS/NZS ISO9001-2000 & AS/NZS 4058. S-mark certification is also maintained on all spun concrete pipe.

The concrete product range includes concrete spun pipe from 225mm - 2100mm diameter, larger diameter precast pipe, manhole systems, chambers, tanks, catchpits, troughs and boxed culvert structures.

Hynds Pipe Systems distribution comprises a network of 27 sales branches throughout New Zealand, supported by regional offices and a national team based in Auckland. As well as selling the company's concrete products to civil and rural customers, the sales network stocks and sells a full selection of pipes, valves, fittings and other products required for drainage, watermain, environmental and rural applications.

The sales network trades under two brands: Hynds Pipe Systems and Hynds Rural.

Hynds Rural brand covers what the company manufactures and sells to farmers and rural landownders.

Ordish & Stevens, a rural services business based in Masterton is also a Hynds Pipe Systems operating unit which designs, supplies, installs and services milking machinery, pumps, irrigation products and farm dairy effluent systems.
